Senator Singer: Gopal is no friend of Howell

Senators Robert Singer and Vin Gopal

Senator Robert Singer, Howell’s Republican state Senator for many years, warned Howell voters against taking the text messages from the young Democrat freshman senator, Vin Gopal, seriously.

“Senator Gopal is an ambitious young man with misplaced priorities,” Senator Singer said. “Gopal’s district has the highest level of gun violence of all of Monmouth County and the smelliest dump in all of New Jersey.  The young senator should focus on his own district’s serious problems instead of lying to my constituents with text messages in support of his puppet, Mayor Theresa Berger.

Gopal abstains on $10 billion borrowing bill – O’Scanlon sues to halt the borrowing

Senator Vin Gopal did not vote on the controversial bill passed and signed into law yesterday that allows Governor Phil Murphy and four Democrat legislators to borrow up to $9.9 billion without voter approval.

New Jersey’s Constitution requires voters to approve state government debt. New Jersey’s Courts, and therefore its Democrat legislators and Governors, treat the Constitution as book of aphorisms.

UPDATED with Senator Gopal’s statement:

DeSeno: NJ’s New “Gay Panic Defense” Law Made Illegal What Was Already Illegal

By Tommy DeSeno

Tom DeSeno

Former Governor Jim McGreevey once held the heavyweight championship belt for passing the silliest New Jersey law in history.

McGreevey once signed a law so silly you’ll laugh while reading it:  His law said no gun can be sold in New Jersey unless the gun itself can recognize its owner and refuse to fire unless the owner is holding it. The law also said it wouldn’t take effect until someone invented a jealous gun possessing a sentient, conscious personality that could do that.

So, your New Jersey legislature and governor wasted your time and your money to pass a law no one can use.  Silly. Read the rest of this entry »

Gopal Opposes Independent Contractor Bill As Written

Senator Vin Gopal @ the TommyG show

State Senator Vin Gopal (D-11) told MMM that he is opposed to S4204, a bill introduced and sponsored by Senate President Steve Sweeney this month, that would classify thousands of small business owners now working as independent contractors to employees of their clients.

“As written, this bill would be devastating to freelance photographers, journalists, truck drivers and even babysitters,” Gopal said in a phone interview. “I am a NO on the bill in its current form.”

Gopal needs to end his silence on Sager and Nelson

Senator Vin Gopal has been silent about the radical anti-cop, pro-narcotics views expressed by Jeana Sager and Moira Nelson, Democrat candidates for Middletown Township Committee and Monmouth County freeholder.

We gave the senator a pass for his silence when his successor as Monmouth Democrat Chairman, David Brown, condemned Sager’s declaration that cops are criminals.  Gopal was on his honeymoon, a trade mission to India with the Murphys, when that story broke.  But the honeymoon is over now that Nelson has been exposed and Brown has remained silent.

In withdrawing Democrat support of Sager, Brown said, Read the rest of this entry »

Houghtaling and Downey Stand With Radical Cop Hating Freeholder Candidate

Monmouth County Democrats, LD 11 Assembly members Eric Houghtaling and Joann Downey in particular, must think Moira Nelson, the Democrat freeholder candidate who views law enforcement officers as trigger happy racist slave masters, represents the character and value of Monmouth County voters.

In case you missed it, we alerted the Dems that they had a second radical cop hating, drug loving candidate in Nelson on their ticket last week.
