Employers invited to participate in Monmouth County Job Fair

The Monmouth County Spring Job Fair will be held at Brookdale Community College on April 12.  Employers still have time to register and participate in this free of charge event, Freeholder Deputy Director Pat Imprevetudo announced.

“The County’s Spring Job Fair is an outstanding opportunity for employers from all industries to meet jobseekers with different skillsets and experience.” said Impreveduto, liaison to the Monmouth County Division of Workforce Development. “We are seeking employers from all industries, especially those who have not partaken in prior years.”

Transcript: Curley called DiMaso a “Staten Island Guinea”

Disgraced Freeholder John P. Curley

The report prepared by retired Acting Supreme Court Justice Mary Catherine Cuff states that disgraced Freeholder John P. Curley referred to Assemblywoman Serena DiMaso as a “Staten Island Guinea,” according to the transcript of federal court proceedings Curley has brought against Monmouth County.  DiMaso was a Monmouth County Freeholder at the time that Curley said “that Staten Island guinea” and “I ought to stab her with my insulin pack.”

Staten Island is the New York City borough where DiMaso was raised. “Guinea” is a derisive ethnic slur that refers to people of Italian heritage. The slur is derived from “Guinea Negro” a term that referenced Blacks or people of mixed ancestry from Guinea, the African country in West Africa. The term is “the most vile” one can call an Italian, according to Urban Dictionary, and is used as a slur for Italians because of many of them have darker skin than Anglo Saxons/Germans, according to the Racial Slur Database. Disgraced Freeholder John P. Curley

Disgraced Freeholder John P. Curley left the room on Thursday when the Monmouth County Board of Freeholders discussed and authorized the payment of $24,075 to former Acting State Supreme Court Justice Mary Catherine Cuff for her investigation into the events that resulted in Curley’s  Censure and Reprimand for sexually harassing County employees and other atrocious behavior.

Judge Cuff’s report, which was referred to as “an interim report” by Monmouth County Counsel Michael Fitzgerald during the freeholders’ workshop meeting on Thursday afternoon, is sealed under a Federal Court approved agreement between Curley and the rest of the freeholders.  Curley sued the County, his fellow freeholders, Fitzgerald and County Administrator Teri O’Connor to prevent the Censure and seal the report.  The agreement also allowed Curley access to his office and confidential assistant, which had been forbidden after the report was presented. Monmouth County’s Reorganization Postponed Till Friday

Pat Impreveduto and Lillian Burry will take the Oath of Office as Freeholders on January 5

The Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders have rescheduled their 2018 Reorganization Meeting until Friday, January 5 at 3PM, due to the expected snowmageddon.  The meeting had been scheduled for Thursday, January 4.

The Freeholders will hold their workshop meeting at 12:30 p.m. in the Hall of Records on Friday as well.

Freeholder-elect Patrick Impreveduto will be sworn into office at the meeting. Freeholder Lillian Burry will take the Oath of Office for her fifth term on the Board.

Tom Arnone will be Freeholder Director in 2018.  Burry will be Deputy Director.

The meeting will take place at BioTechnology High School, 5000 Kozloski Rd in Freehold Township.

Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #30 Endorses Patrick Impreveduto for Monmouth County Freeholder

FOP Lodge #30, the Monmouth County Superior Officers Association, has endorsed Holmdel Deputy Mayor Patrick Impreveduto for election to the Freeholder Board in the general election on Tuesday, November 7, according to Shawn Reece, president of the union.

“Throughout his tenure as a leader in Holmdel, both as a member of the Township Committee and the Board of Education, Patrick Impreveduto has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to public safety and a strong appreciation for the men and women who have dedicated their lives to keep us safe,” Reece said. Vote for Burry and Impreveduto Today

Most of the attention has been on the gubernatorial race in today’s Primary election.  But there is a race for the GOP nominations for Monmouth County Freeholder that could impact the quality of life for local residents more than the governor’s race.

Freeholder Director Lillian Burry and Holmdel Deputy Mayor Pat Impreveduto are being challenged by a couple of Ciattarelli sycophants that we haven’t heard from since MMM reported their petition fraud to get on the ballot.

No one expects Lillian and Pat to have a problem securing the nomination.  That’s the danger.  In an expected low turnout election, shocking surprises have been know to happen.   In Highlands, our popular Mayor Rick O’Neil once lost primary to a complete unknown because too many of Rick’s supporters figured he had it in the bag and didn’t bother voting.

Vote today.  If you’re a Republican or Unaffiliated voter in Monmouth County, vote for Lillian G. Burry and Patrick Impreveduto for Freeholder.

Monmouth Republicans Will Have A Primary For Freeholder Nominations

Monmouth County Clerk Christine Giordano Hanlon ruled yesterday that the Freeholder slates endorsed by the Monmouth County Republican Organization and those submitted by the Ciattarelli for Governor campaign both had enough qualifying signatures on their nominating petitions to appear on the ballot for the June 6 primary.  Freeholder Director Lillian Burry and Holmdel Deputy Mayor Pat Impreveduto will be challenged by Dr. Bernard Dowd, a veterinarian from Oceanport and Susan Ellen Metz of Middletown.

Ciattarelli Freeholder Team’s Petitions Challenged

The nominating petitions filed by the Monmouth County Freeholder candidates aligned with Jack Ciattarelli for Governor appear to have fraudulent signatures and to have been falsely certified, according to a challenge filed by Monmouth County Republican Chairman Shaun Golden and an ongoing investigation by MMM.

In a letter to Monmouth County Clerk Christine Giordano Hanlon obtained by MMM, Golden said that a review of the petitions filed by Bernard Dowd and Susan Ellen Metz revealed “a number of irregularities.” Golden wrote that several signatures appear to be in the same handwriting for multiple people,  several signers are not registered to vote and/or are registered Democrats.  Democrat voters are not eligible to vote in Republican primaries nor endorse candidates for those primaries.

Freeholder Director Lillian Burry and Holmdel Deputy Mayor Pat Impreveduto will face a primary challenge on June 6 for the Republican nominations for Monmouth County Freeholder.

The gubernatorial campaign of Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli recruited Dr. Bernard Dowd, DVM, a equine veterinarian who lives in Oceanport and Susan Ellen Metz of Middletown to run against the Monmouth GOP endorsed candidates.

Dowd has served on the Monmouth Park Task Force in Oceanport.
