Welle’s Bogus Town Hall Meeting in Jackson-Videos

Josh Welle refers to a flash card while answering a question about solar energy

By Art Gallagher

Josh Welle, the Democrat running against Congressman Chris Smith in the 4th congressional district, held a campaign event, dubbed a town hall meeting, in Jackson on Thursday night that appeared to be designed to capture footage for television commercials, rather than to hear from the people of Jackson, as advertised.

Rather than the free wheeling give and take of town hall meetings New Jersey residents are accustomed to, like those of former Governor Chris Christie, and the ObamaCare town halls held by Congressman Frank Pallone and Rush Holt in 2010, Welle’s event featured pre-screened questions read by a moderator.  The person who submitted the question was instructed to stand (for the video cameras) while Welle delivered prepared answers.

Murphy would rather talk about Confederate flags than taxes

Monmouth Dems Expand Relationship With Hate Group

Former Goldman Sachs banker Phil Murphy, the Democrat running for governor of New Jersey, does not want to talk about his plan to raise taxes by $1.3 billion.  He also doesn’t want to talk about renewing the law that is keeping a lid on New Jersey property taxes which expires at the end of this year.

Murphy really doesn’t want Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno, the GOP nominee for governor, to talk about taxes either.   Murphy wants to talk the Confederate flag.  He wants Guadagno to talk about it too, according to a report at NJ.com. Read the rest of this entry »

While we’re taking down statues, let’s take Murphy off the ballot and give his house to Black Lives Matter

Former Goldman Sachs Banker Phil Murphy took his campaign for governor into the gutter yesterday when he accused this Republican opponent, Kim Guadagno, of condoning racism and antisemitism.

“We are now seeing a disturbing trend emerge with Kim Guadagno and her campaign,” Murphy said in a statement, according to Politico. “Yesterday, she refused to criticize a sitting Assemblyman for posing with the Confederate flag, a symbol of bigotry and divisiveness. Today, we’ve learned that her choice for Lieutenant Governor, Woodcliff Lake Mayor Carlos Rendo, has been accused of systematic harassment and discrimination by the Chabad community in Woodcliff Lake. Yet, both times Lieutenant Governor Guadagno refused to criticize racist and anti-semitic speech despite the clear evidence.”

If Murphy believes that accusations in a lawsuit are “clear evidence” and that country singer Hank Williams Jr. and Assemblyman Parker Space are racists, maybe he is dumb enough to not have known that he was in charge of a $55 million investment in a Chinese shoe manufacturer that used slave labor while he was president of Goldman Sachs Asia. LGBT activist Sue Fulton, a former Monmouth County freeholder candidate outside Senator Jennifer Beck’s office. Middletown Committee candidate Tricia Maguire looks on.

Monmouth County Democrats, led by former freeholder candidate Sue Fulton, Middletown committeewoman candidate Tricia Maguire, Red Bank Councilman Ed Zipprich and Councilwoman Kathy Horgan took the the streets of Red Bank on Saturday to protest Ocean Township Deputy Mayor Rob Acerra’s alleged use of a hot mess chicken emoji on the campaign facebook page of LD 11 Assembly Members Eric Houghtaling and Joann Downey.

Acerra is one of the Republicans running against Houghtaling and Downey, along with Red Bank Councilman Michael Whelan. The protest took place outside Senator Jennifer Beck’s legislative office on Monmouth Street.

Houghtaling and Downey, who would rather their reelection campaign be about facebook emojis than their records in the Assembly as special interest puppets, both shared photos of the protesters holding handmade signs and rubber chickens on their personal facebook pages.

Asbury Park Press Depicts Republican Assembly Candidate As Chicken

Gopal and Weinberg condemn hot mess chicken cartoon, silent on District 4 Coalition For Change hate posts

screen grab from app.com

The Asbury Park Press has done an admirable job for most of this year focusing on New Jersey’s ridiculously high taxes, but as we are about to enter election season, the media outlet is apparently trying to help reelect liberal special interest puppets, Eric Houghtailing and Joann Downey, to the State Assembly. Monmouth Dems’ Hate Group: Women who vote Republican are stupid

Vin Gopal has a sorry record of advancing women in politics

Monmouth Dems hate group celebrates womens’ right to vote?

Today is Women’s Equality Day;  a celebration of the passage of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution which granted women the right to vote.

This is a cause for celebration indeed, especially in Monmouth County where the Republican Party has a strong history of nominating and electing women to serve in office at the County and State level.   Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno, Senator Jennifer Beck, Assemblywoman Amy Handlin, County Clerk Christine Giordano Hanlon, Surrogate Rosemary Peters, Freeholder Director Lillian Burry and Freeholder Serena DiMaso are all home grown Monmouth County Republicans who serve with distinction.
