Monmouth County taxpayers save millions of dollars in costs because there are so many volunteer Firefighters, volunteer EMTs, and volunteer OEM keeping our emergency services working without paying career professionals with our tax dollars.
These volunteers are dwindling, and the government regulators are increasing the training demands on them.
Wouldn’t it make sense to give the emergency services volunteers free passes to local beaches and all county parks for themselves and their families that jointly make this sacrifice for our county?
Imagine the taxpayer costs if the decline in these volunteers continues.
