Asbury Park Man Pleads Guilty to Heroin Distribution

Robert “True” Britt, 45, of Asbury Park pleaded guilty to federal charges of conspiracy to distribute heroin in Ocean and Monmouth Counties today. U.S. District Judge Peter G. Sheridan accepted the plea during a hearing in U.S. District Court in Trenton, according to an announcement by Acting U.S. Attorney William E. Fitzpatrick.

North Jersey Coastline train derails at Penn Station

A New Jersey Transit train with 180 passengers on board derailed at Penn Station on Thursday night. The accident happened at 9:10p.m, when train number 3276 on the North Jersey Coast Line derailed in the Hudson River tunnel into Penn Station.
