Gopal and Weinberg condemn hot mess chicken cartoon, silent on District 4 Coalition For Change hate posts

screen grab from app.com
The Asbury Park Press has done an admirable job for most of this year focusing on New Jersey’s ridiculously high taxes, but as we are about to enter election season, the media outlet is apparently trying to help reelect liberal special interest puppets, Eric Houghtailing and Joann Downey, to the State Assembly. Vin Gopal has a sorry record of advancing women in politics

Monmouth Dems hate group celebrates womens’ right to vote?
Today is Women’s Equality Day; a celebration of the passage of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution which granted women the right to vote.
This is a cause for celebration indeed, especially in Monmouth County where the Republican Party has a strong history of nominating and electing women to serve in office at the County and State level. Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno, Senator Jennifer Beck, Assemblywoman Amy Handlin, County Clerk Christine Giordano Hanlon, Surrogate Rosemary Peters, Freeholder Director Lillian Burry and Freeholder Serena DiMaso are all home grown Monmouth County Republicans who serve with distinction. Statues are coming down everywhere because they represent people who fought for the confederacy, owned slaves or some other historical abomination. Names of buildings on campus are being changed, and one university, Stockton, has removed the bust of its namesake, Richard Stockton and is considering changing the name of the school because this signer of the Declaration of Independence owned slaves.
Since we are going down this road, we need to be consistent and I propose the following changes:
1. Gettysburg needs to be renamed. After all, James Gettys, the founder owned a slave. Henceforth, the Gettysburg Address should be known as the Adams County address, since John Adams didn’t own slaves. Read the rest of this entry »

The Republican leaders of Monmouth County Government issued the following statement regarding the anti-Semitic and racist flyers posted in Asbury Park last weekend, as reported by The Asbury Park Press:
“It has come to our attention that racist, anti-Semitic, and hateful flyers were recently posted in the City of Asbury Park. Racism, anti-Semitism, bigotry, discrimination, or any type of hate have no place in Monmouth County, New Jersey. Such conduct and speech is not consistent with our culture. We are a diverse county with people of all races and religions living together in harmony. These flyers do not reflect the reality of our communities.

The Democrat candidate for Senate in LD 13, one of his Assembly running mates, the Monmouth Dem Freeholders candidates, and a Democrat candidate for Middletown Township Committee were the honored guests of a group that depicts police officers as nazis and Mother Theresa as a sadistic religious fanatic. The group, District 4 Coalition for Change, has also posted a nude photo of First Lady Melania Trump on its facebook page.
Sean Byrnes, the former Middletown Township Committeeman running for Senate in LD 13, Mariel DiDato, the 25 year old Hazlet resident running for Assembly in LD 13, Lake Como Mayor Brian Wilton and his freeholder running mate Dr. Margie Donlon, and Tricia Maguire, a candidate for Middletown Township Committee were all invited to speak at the event which was held at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Lincroft.
