Fiore: Middletown will remember 9/11

Middletown Deputy Mayor Tony Fiore responded to the news that the Twin Beams represented the World Trade Center will not be lit this year in remembrance of those we lost on September 11, 2001, due to COVID-19 public health concerns, by promising that Middletown’s annual remembrance will go on.

“No pandemic, executive order, hurricane, or nuclear blast will keep Middletown from paying tribute to those we lost so long as I have any say about it. #neverforget,” Fiore said on facebook.

Fiore told MMM that Middletown will step up in a major way to remember 9/11 this year. Stay tuned.
