For the second time this week, a NJ university poll said New Jersey U.S. Senate race is a dead heat.

In the Battle of the Bobs, Senator Menendez leads GOP nominee Bob Hugin by 6% among likely voters in the FDU Poll released this morning.

“However, it’s important to note that once the margin of error is taken into account, the election remains anyone’s game.”

On Monday, a Stockton University Poll put Menendez up 2%, also within the margin of error.

29% of registered voters and 18% of likely voters are still undecided in the FDU poll. 53% of likely voters have an unfavorable opinion of Menendez, including 29% of Democrats, 89% of Republicans and 61% of Independents.

36% of likely voters have a favorable opinion of Hugin. 30% have an unfavorable view of the former Celgene CEO while 33% either never heard of him or don’t know how they feel about it.

  1. Mike Harmon said at 1:45 pm on October 3rd, 2018:

Son Travis Harmon and I were thrilled to meet Senate Candidate Bob Hugin, the former CEO of Celgene. The Harmon family has been hearing about Celgene for a long time. My father Jim was a big fan of Celgene Pharma not only for the thousands of lives saved with cancer drugs like Revlimid and Abraxane but other life changing drugs. Celgene has a very creative model and they partner with and provide backing to other companies on drugs and therapies for people and even our pets. Hugin helped saved lives and when elected we will have a representative in the Senate where lots of decisions are made. NJ has not benefited by having two democrat Senators as NJ is almost always dead last on the return of federal funds to states. Menendez and Booker serve their own personal interests first.
