    there aren’t any contract provisions regarding “overtime,” work stoppages not at the fault of the general contractor, or built- in accelerator clauses for both time and materials( asphalt, other petroleum/ concrete products, etc.) – if so, many jobs will come in way over original cost estimates or bid pricing- in other words, our seemingly never- ending roadwork will continue to tie us up, and cost us even more!
