Dems step up their hateful rhetoric

DNC Deputy Chairman Keith Ellison preaching hate in Asbury Park, March 31, 2017.  Vin Gopal and Assemblyman Eric Houghtaling, left, look on with approval

Congressman Keith Ellison, the Deputy Chairman of the Democratic National Committee, evoked the Holocaust on Monday, comparing illegal immigrants and their children to Jews in 1941 Germany.

“I’m going to tell you right now, I’m one of them people who believes you should give your neighbors sanctuary,” Ellison said at an event in Minnesota.  “If you ask yourself, ‘What would I do if I was a Gentile in 1941 if my Jewish neighbors were under attack by the Nazis? Would I give them sanctuary?’ — you might be about to find out what you would do. Will you pass that moral test, or will you fail it? This is the time for people who truly have faith and belief in their hearts to step up and demonstrate.”

What does this have to do with Monmouth County or New Jersey?  Well not six months ago, Ellison was in Asbury Park as the guest of the Monmouth County and New Jersey Democrats preaching his perverted morality.  Vin Gopal, the LD 11 Dem candidate for State Senate, Assemblyman Eric Houghtaling and Assemblywoman Joann Downey were standing behind Ellison, cheering him on.

Gopal is busy trying to defeat Senator Jennifer Beck by characterizing her as a puppet of Governor Chris Christie.  This despite the fact that Beck called for Christie to either resign his office or stop traveling the country campaigning for Donald Trump’s presidential campaign in 2016. Beck also agreed to sponsor legislation that would have appointed a special prosecutor to investigate Christie’s role in Bridgegate.

The truth never mattered to Gopal while he was Monmouth County Democrat Chairman and it doesn’t matter to him now.  He’ll say whatever he thinks it will take to win an election.

Don’t be fooled by Vin Gopal’s pleasant smile and his awe-shucks demeanor. He’s as radical as Ellison and equally dishonest.

If Vin Gopal had any decency, he be disavowing Ellison, as well as the local hate group, District 4 Coalition for Change, that is supporting the LD 11 Democrats, the LD 13 Democrats and the Democrat freeholder candidates.

Since MMM exposed District 4 Coalition for Change as the anti-Cop, anti-Catholic group that they are last month, Gopal and his running mates, including Dem gubernatorial candidate Phil Murphy, who are beneficiaries of the groups propaganda, have remained silent.  The group deleted their posts depicting police officers as Nazis and Mother Theresa as a sadist.  They posted a claim that this website “has been using old posts from D4CC to slander our good work.”

This week, less than a month after they accused MMM of using old posts to slander their good work, D4CC commemorated Rosh Hashanah by depicting Congressman Chris Smith as an anti-Semite and a Nazi –twice.   Sweet.

Vin Gopal should stop lying about Senator Jennifer Beck’s record.  He should stop lying about his own record.  If Vin Gopal really wants to be a leader who makes a difference and transforms hate into love, he should start with Keith Ellison and his local friends at District 4 Coalition for Change.

Let’s see who Congressman Ellison really is.

As a law student in 1989 and 1990, Ellison wrote several columns under the name “Keith E. Hakim” in the student newspaper, the Minnesota Daily. He defended Louis Farrakhan against claims of racism, and further wrote that Farrakhan “is also not an anti-Semite” and called affirmative action a “sneaky” form of compensation for slavery, suggesting that white Americans instead pay reparations to blacks.

Under the name “Keith X Ellison,” he wrote defenses of Farrakhan against accusations of anti-semitism after the 1995 Million Man March, and again in 1997.

Mr. Ellison was the first Muslim elected to Congress and was shown at his swearing in using the Muslim Holy Book, the Qur’an (Koran).

As for sheltering of his “Jewish neighbors under attack by the Nazis” I would point out that the Jewish people living in Germany were legal residents and citizens of Germany at that time. Comparing legal residents and citizens of a country to illegal immigrants is not a valid comparison.

I would also point out that the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem Hajj Amin al-Husayni (Arab nationalist and prominent Muslim religious leader) in 1941 supported Adolf Hitler and was a propagandist for the Third Reich against the Allies during World War II.

Mr. Ellison’s words ring rather hollow given his past history and beliefs.
