Cullari Considering Congressional Bid

cullariErnesto Cullari of Asbury Park said that if he can raise $30,000 in thirty days he will seek the Republican nomination to challenge Congressman Frank Pallone at the Monmouth and Middlesex Republican nominating conventions on March 22.

The conservative Justified Right columnist for the triCityNews was the Monmouth GOP endorsed candidate in the 2012 6th district primary which he lost for former Highlands Mayor Anna Little who was tabbed by the Middlesex GOP.

Cullari said that he had hoped that Monmouth County Sheriff Shaun Golden had run against Pallone. “Shaun is a great elected official and public servant. He was the candidate who could really have taken it to Pallone, ” Cullari said, “now that Shaun has said he is not running, I am taking a serious look at doing it. If I can raise $1000 per day for a month, I’m in.”

“I want to fight for my county.  I’m too old for military service, but I would run against Pallone as if I were protecting our freedom, because I believe that ultimately that is what is a stake given what is going on in Washington.”

Cullari said he would file a statement of organization with the Federal Election Commission this week and start calling his supporters for donations.

I knew it!! The RINO bosses read my comment on another thread about drafting Anna Little to run against Pallone. So what happens? They run out and find another loser just to block Anna Little from getting into the race. Funny how everytime a RINO stooge says they don’t want to run, the bosses find another loser. And what happens if this clown changes his mind and decides to sit out? Who will be next, Diane Gooch?

The same Anna Little who has publicly stated she is not running this year?

The same Anna Little who still has $40,000 in debt from her last failed campaign?

Wasn’t this the guy who was more interested in raising funds for Typhoon stricken the Philippines than the Jersey Shore?

As was said on another post – if you had any guts you would run. Guess your not running.

Yes puppy, why don’t YOU run for all of your hyperbole?

You’re the only cowardly clown here. Have the guts to put your name out there, both on this blog and on the ballot.

    Now,

    @ Cullari?

What is wrong with helping raise funds for the children at the orphanage HIS OWN MOTHER RAN?

When you get your foot out of your mouth and your head out of your butt, you can apologize.

You two are reasons why people don’t run. They are sick and tired of being picked apart by morons such as yourself.

    @Cullari
That is absolutely ridiculous! How dare you criticize someone’s charitable works! You should be ashamed of yourself and apologize!

You should also get your facts right as well, he did volunteer work both in Perth Amboy and over in the Highlands. He also helped coordinate a fundraising event in December of 2012 for hurricane Sandy relief.

  8. @Charles M can save us all said at 11:57 am on February 25th, 2014:

I mean it, Charles M can save us all by teaching Republicans how to build up their image and get their actions published by the “news” and talked about by the masses.

This is why people know Cory Booker — Cory Booker ran into a house fire to save an old lady. Cory Booker leaps tall buildings in a single bound. Cory Booker hugs puppies AND kittens!

And this is what every Republican should be begging Charles to help with, their online, self-promoting, image even long before they want to run for an office. Who cares if Ernesto is pro- or anti- [your favorite issue here], a policy wonk is NEVER going to get elected, not for mayor, not for President. But has Ernesto ever carried an old lady, out of a burning building, down 80 flights of stairs, while carrying her poodle at the same time??? If so, Charles would know how to get that “news” around, and people will remember Ernesto Cullari as the man who saved the baby from the jaws of a rabid stoat.

I double-dog-dare you, go ahead and ask one person who voted for Booker a question about his record in Newark, they don’t know and don’t care. But ask if they remember the time that Cory Booker single-handily prevented 7 awful, old WHITE ladies from attacking that poor, black teenage boy over a bag of skittles and a snapple and I’m sure they know the whole story.

Stop pretending that policy and platform matter. Throw all of the “Constitutionally certified” non-sense out of the window. Don’t run on “Pallone wrote Obamacare” — Obama won by running on “I’ll pass Obamacare”, TWICE!! and you want to run on the opposite side that, and expect to win? Barely a House or Senate seat changed despite “Obamacare” scare-words, and you still want to pretend this time will be different? Don’t run on “conservative” and “tax-cutting” — the people know their taxes are NEVER going to be cut, EVER… ever, ever, ever, ever….. EVER! In fact, I’ll betcha running on “I’m a nice guy and I give cheese-doodles to hungry kids in my neighborhood” gets more votes than Anna Little did vs Pallone, because ALL people like a guy who gives out cheese-doodles, except for dirty communists of course.

  12. @ Ralph James said at 6:03 pm on February 25th, 2014:

Did you bother to even read the comments above, or can you even read?

    Here, let’s try this again:

“What is wrong with helping raise funds for the children at the orphanage HIS OWN MOTHER RAN?”

“You should also get your facts right as well, he did volunteer work both in Perth Amboy and over in the Highlands. He also helped coordinate a fundraising event in December of 2012 for hurricane Sandy relief.”

If you didn’t get it the second time Ralph, then the only conclusion we can come to is that you can not read English.

And this applies to you as well: When you get your foot out of your mouth and your head out of your butt, you can apologize.

BTW, just how bigoted are you? You’re the example the liberals point too when properly claiming some of the Tea Party are bigots.

BTW, he’s Philippine American. BTW, you DO know you know the Philippine people helped us in WWII, right ?

My GOD, some people really are stupid.

Ralph, go crawl back under the rock of hate that you live under.

  13. The Bayshore Bulldog said at 6:56 pm on February 25th, 2014:

I believe Anna Little would run if she didn’t have to face another primary fight, and if the RINO moneybags would help pay off her previous campaign debt and enable her to raise more cash. The reason Anna Little had so much debt was because of all the money she had to spend fending off RINO stooges from Monmouth County in those costly primary races. Give Anna Little some money, a united party, and she’ll go all the way and take out Frank Pallone. Come January she’ll take her seat in the House of Representatives alongside Steve Lonegan and Alieta Eck.

It’s not every day of the week that I agree with Jim and Charles on something, but the person who posted the negative comments about Mr. Cullari’s efforts to assist his mother in taking care of orphans in the Philippines deserves the “Nutcase of the Month Award”

  15. @ BULL puppy said at 7:40 pm on February 25th, 2014:

I know who you are now, and I have read your writings elsewhere. You are a rambling moron who seriously needs meds.

As a matter of fact, you are so stupid and vain that, listen to this folks:

BULL puppy suggested his OWN real name as a candidate for Congress. He didn’t have the guts to say he would run, so he floats his name as a trial balloon; as if someone else put it out there, hoping people would flock to him. Just, how sick is that?

What, BULL pup, that didn’t fly, so now you are back to proposing Anna Little?

Anna Little could have run, but she backed out BEFORE there was any possibility there could have been a primary fight.

    A little delusional aren’t you?

Go away, you are a disgusting little cur.

    Jim Granelli

  16. The Bayshore Bulldog said at 7:55 pm on February 25th, 2014:

I think it is very unfair to Anna Little to suggest that she does not want to run again. Candidates play “hard-to-get” all the time, and in Anna’s case it’s understandable given the shabby way she was treated by the Monmouth County RINO bosses, who disrespected her in every way and made life for her as difficult as possible. I do believe that if the RINOs recognize the error of their ways, apologize to Anna Little and offer their full support, I believe she will run again. Anyway, what have they got to lose?

If after all that Anna Little still refuses to run, then it may be possible to convince Rich Pezzullo to switch from running for Senate to running for Congress, especially now that Dr. Murray Sabrin seems to have the GOP nomination all locked up.

As to Gene Hoyas, I believe he should be considered as a possible candidate if Anna Little and Rich Pezzullo won’t run. He is a popular blogger, well-informed, politically experienced, passionate and eloquent about the issues. I don’t know if he is available or interested, but I’m sure if duty calls he will put on the uniform, polish his sword, shine his boots, and step up to lead the troops to victory.

  17. The Tea Party From The Black Lagoon said at 12:05 am on February 26th, 2014:

What a pathetic bunch of losers. Ya’ll fighting over deck chair arrangements on the Titanic. Like Murray Sabrin at the top of the ticket for US Senate and Ernesto Cullari for Congress is going to sweep Monmouth County and the rest of the State. Yeah, right. I’ll bet a ticket led by Uncle Floyd for Senate and Oogie for Congress gets more votes than those two Bozos.

or the county and locals really suffer.. As previously guessed/stated, the “names” who could better cushion the Booker-blows we will suffer in November, are” busy”doing other things- very few, these days, will take a likely loss in their career, will play it safe, and not take one for the team.. “Looking out for number one” trumps service now, nearly every time..whatever constituencies any of the lower- tier candidates can bring out that day, winds up bring better than an empty slot.. sorry, but that’s how it is..
