OK – now a second health care worker in Dallas, who treated Mr. Duncan, has just been diagnosed with Ebola. That’s now 2 out of 70 who assisted Mr. Duncan have been diagnosed with Eboala.

Folks, forget about partisanship on this one. This killer virus will strike anyone without regard for race, color, ethnicity, or political affiliation.

Does anyone really have confidence in government to protect us? Hey big government supporters – this is now real world – wake up.

Sorry, but we must impose a strict no entry policy for those seeking to flee West Africa; only charter flights should be allowed into or from West Africa, limited to assistance in fighting that epidemic in that region.

A quarantine center must be built at those airports where health care workers coming back must remain for a definite period of time to make sure they will not return here with the virus.

We certainly can help those stricken with Ebola, over there. We must not risk exposing any more of our health care workers with its potential spread into the community through family and friends in this country. That is both Christian and common sense. Unless we protect ourselves and our families, we will be unable to help others.

May God protect those health care workers who put it all on the line to help others. I urge all to pray for those workers; they are truly Good Samaritans.
