Election Day Predictions 2018 —New Jersey will make the country wait

Bob Hugin will have a 25,000 vote lead over Senator Bob Menendez tonight but a winner will not be declared until November 20.  Ballots post marked today and delivered by the post office by Thursday evening are to be counted under Governor Murphy’s new election law. There will be a record number of provisional ballots to be verified and counted or not.  There will be counts, recounts, lawsuits and reviews of security cameras at the North Bergen and Jersey City Post Offices before the final outcome is known. The Evans Family Rallies For Congressman Chris Smith

Ashley Evans, a 17 year old Howell  resident, has been  fighting back against the lies being told by Josh Welle in his ads against Congressman Chris Smith since she came across one on YouTube a few weeks ago.

Smith rescued Ashley and her sister Sophia from the Republic of Georgia during the Russian invasion of the county in 2008.

Ashley and her parents, Joseph and Teah have seen telling their story and rallying support for Congressman Smith since they saw Welle’s deceitful attacks.

Prompted by Joe’s comment on MMM on Friday, I caught up with Ashley and Teah during a Karate competition in Jackson on Saturday afternoon.   See their videos below:

In Highlands, Carolyn Broullon and John Urbanski are the best choices for council

When the September deadline for candidates to submit their petitions for Highlands’ non-partisan municipal elections passed, many in town were disappointed and concerned that there were only three candidates to choose from for the two seats.

Council President Carolyn Broullon is an obvious choice for reelection.  It’s hard to believe Broullon is finishing only her first term. She as accomplished a great deal in her three years on the council and has made a positive difference in the community.

Friends of former Councilman John Urbanski have launched a Write-In campaign to draft Urbanski into service.  I’m writing John in and I urge my neighbors in town to do the same. Johnny says he’s willing.  We all know he’s able.

Josh Welle Applied To Work In The Trump Administration Last Year

Josh Welle, the Virginia registered voter running against Congressman Chris Smith in the 4th Congressional District of New Jersey, applied to the Trump Administration’s first class of White House Fellows, MMM learned today.  He was a finalist for the position, interviewed by the Commissioners of the program, but was not one of the fourteen fellows announced by the Trump White House on September 20, 2017 .

Welle filed to be a candidate for Congress on October 7, 2017, 17 days after the White House Fellows were announced without his name on the list.

Josh Welle prepares to fight the enemy in food stores and restaurants

The congressional candidate who proclaimed last winter that the people of Howell, Jackson, Allentown and Millstone “are not there yet” in the fight against racism and discrimination, this week visited Jackson and told his small group of supporters gathered in private home that there are enemies in this country lurking in food stores and restaurants.

Josh Welle, the young Virginia registered voter trying to turn his life around by getting elected to congress in New Jersey, told the guests of Jackson resident Henry Walker that he is one of 20-25 military veterans throughout the country who are running for congress “… because some of the enemies are here in our own country. “Now they don’t wear a uniform,” Welle said with bended knee, “and you don’t always know what the look like, but you can hear it,” he said as he used the international sign language gesture for crazy, “you can sense it at a food store or at a restaurant.”

Congressman Smith Honored By National Marrow Donor Program

The National Marrow Donor Program/BeTheMatch announced that it is honoring Congressman Chris Smith with the Lives Award during their annual Council Meeting in Minneapolis on November 9.

NMDP/BeTheMatch manages the largest and most diverse marrow registry in the world, serving thousands of people diagnosed every year with life-threatening blood cancers like leukemia and lymphoma.

“Representative Smith was nominated and honored with the 2018 Lives Award because of his continued support of the National Marrow Donor Program, and for his efforts in protecting patients’ access to transplant,” said Susan Leppke, Director of Health and Public Policy at the National Marrow Donor Program/Be The Match.

Hibell Calls Shenanigans On Walsh Abusing Her Board of Education Post, Exploiting Kids

New Corruption Allegations Made Against Curley

Realty Data Systems, LLC, the property inspection company that in April accused disgraced Freeholder John P.Curley of corruption and official misconduct, said they became aware of new evidence of Curley’s malfeasance this month.

Michael Panter, one of RDS’s founders and owners acting as the company’s in-house lawyer, made the new allegations against Curley in a Notice of Claims filed with Monmouth County Counsel Michael Fitzgerald and County Administrator Teri O’Connor on Thursday October 25.  The notice includes a draft lawsuit against the County of Monmouth as Curley’s employer.
