I feel sympathy and sorrow for all involved in this and all of the other recent roadway accidents in Howell.

I’d also like to add that I honestly believe that the families of the victims, as well as those injured or otherwise just involved in any of the MANY, MANY, MANY, MANY recent auto-accidents in Howell, all along Rt 9 and along the many (what were once) back roads, should find a capable attorney and file a class action lawsuit against, naming personally, Howell Mayor Bill Gotto and his cronies.

They have sold out Howell to Trenton Democrats and bent-over backwards for developers who have turned forests into developments and shopping centers and never once did the Mayor or his incompetent and incapable friends ever think about the impact it would have on the local roadways, environment, or lives of people trying to live in the area. Their “master planning” to allow such over development, without any changes or improvements to the roadways and safety, is outright criminal negligence. They continue to approve more developments along roadways that have not been designed for the amount of traffic they current handle or the increase in traffic that the new developments they are approving will bring to the roads. Their incompetence will sadly lead to more deaths for years to come, and a huge tax bill to residents who will foot the bill to fix the road system to handle all of the traffic.

Just getting Gotto out of office is not good enough. He needs to be punished for the loss of life, personal injuries, and damage to property that his bad and biased decision making has caused. His punishment should be severe and serve as a warning to administrators of other townships not to put people’s lives at risk for a few bucks.
